Math Facts Practice Online

Quick Math Facts is a free online drill tool for the four basic operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Pick an operation, pick a level and start answering. Every answer is checked the moment you click it, so you see immediately what you got right and where you slipped. There is no sign-up, no email and nothing to download — the drill runs in the browser and the score stays on your device.

Three Levels: Easy, Medium, Hard

  • Easy — Addition uses numbers from 1 to 12 and 1 to 10, subtraction uses a 1 to 10 subtrahend with a positive difference up to 12, multiplication uses 1 × 1 through 9 × 9, and division uses exact facts with divisors and answers from 1 to 9; addition can cross 10, subtraction stays positive by default, and there are no remainders, making it suitable for beginners learning facts.
  • Medium — All four operations are available with two-digit addition and subtraction, multiplication of a two-digit number by 2 through 9, and exact division with a divisor from 2 to 99 and a quotient from 2 to 12; addition can involve carrying, subtraction can involve borrowing, and division has no remainder.
  • Hard — All four operations use three-digit addition and subtraction, multiplication of 2- to 3-digit numbers by 2- to 3-digit numbers, and exact division with a dividend of at least three digits and a divisor from 10 to 999; carrying and borrowing are common, and division still produces no remainder.

How Timed Drills Help

A timer is not there to make practice stressful. It turns a page of questions into a short, finishable round and gives the learner a score to beat next time, which is far more motivating than working through a list with no end. Short repeated rounds also build recall, so a fact like 7 × 8 comes back without counting on fingers. Because every round is scored automatically, progress is visible in seconds — no teacher marking anything by hand.

How to Use

  1. Choose the operation you want to practise.
  2. Choose a level: easy, medium or hard.
  3. Start the drill and answer as many questions as you can before the timer runs out.

Printable Worksheets

A printed sheet still wins for homework, for a classroom handout, or for practice away from a screen. The worksheet generator on this site turns the same four operations into a PDF with up to 200 questions and an optional answer key, generated in your browser so nothing about the student is uploaded: printable math facts worksheets.
