Privacy Policy
Summary
- No account, sign-up or email address is required to use the site.
- Practice results, settings and mistakes are stored in your browser, not on a server.
- Worksheets and PDFs are generated on your device; names and dates entered on a worksheet are not uploaded.
- The only analytics is Plausible, a privacy-friendly, cookieless service that records aggregate page views without identifying individual visitors.
Information stored on your device
The site uses your browser's local storage to remember settings such as the chosen difficulty, the optional name used in the practice header, sound and hint preferences, your score history, the list of problems you missed, and worksheet options. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to the site. Clearing your browser's site data, or using the Clear All button in the Scores view, removes it.
Worksheets and PDFs
The worksheet generator runs entirely in your browser. A student name and date are optional, are stored only in your browser, and appear only on the PDF you create. The PDF is assembled on your device with a bundled copy of jsPDF; no worksheet file or name is sent anywhere.
Cookies and tracking
The site does not set cookies. It uses Plausible Analytics (plausible.io), a cookieless analytics service that records aggregate page views without identifying individual visitors; it does not use advertising or social media tracking. Apart from the Plausible script, the stylesheet, scripts, icons and PDF library are served from the site's own domain.
Server logs
Like most websites, the hosting provider may record standard technical information for each request, such as the IP address, browser type, requested URL and time, in order to keep the site secure and available. These logs are not combined with your practice data, which never leaves your browser.
Children's privacy
The site does not ask for names, email addresses or accounts, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The student name field on worksheets is optional and stays on the device. Parents and teachers can clear all locally stored data at any time from the Scores view or from the browser's site settings.
Your choices
You can remove locally stored scores and mistakes with the Clear All button in the Scores view, or remove everything by clearing site data for quickmathfacts.com in your browser. Private or incognito windows discard the data when the window is closed.
Changes to this policy
If the way the site works changes, this policy will be updated and the date at the top of the page will change.
